This is an immaculate home with an open floor plan that has been newly furnished and updated.
Your relaxation starts the minute you step through the double solid wood doors into a spacious great room that is flooded with natural sunlight and has direct views to the covered lanai, pool and canal. Walk through the accordion style sliding glass doors to gain a full view of the beautiful outdoors. Unwind under the covered lanai with a spacious seating area that includes a full size outdoor refrigerator and freezer and 43” Smart TV. Sit and relax while you overlook a serene pool area that offers a place to sip a drink and enjoy some conversations or just relax and take in the sun and quiet while floating in the water. The pool offers two wide built in steps and two ledges for in water seating where you can relax and have Knot A Care. You will quickly notice the quiet and private setting.
The dock offers the opportunity to cast a line with the provided fishing poles or sit in the Adirondack chairs and enjoy the quiet views of the canal and the sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening. From the dock there is easy canal access via boat to the Peace River, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte and the Gulf of Mexico. There are several restaurants and bars with access from the water.
The great room is a spacious open area where you can watch your favorite show or a movie on the 75” 4K QLED smart TV or relax and read your newest novel in the fun oversized barrel chair. During the non-summer months you can open the accordion sliding door that leads to the lanai, and bring the outside in. With an open concept, guests sitting in the great room or around the massive kitchen island can have a conversation while the chef is preparing meals. The kitchen offers spacious counter space and bar top with 4 large comfortable bar stools that swivel 360 degrees. The kitchen also has a separate prep island that has its own sink and garbage disposal. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need (e.g pots, pans, bakeware, crock pot, dishes) to cook your favorite meal. If you prefer to grill, especially with an amazing view, a large 4 burner gas grill awaits you in the lanai area.
Wind down the evening by sitting around the gas fire pit located in the seating area just outside the lanai or enjoy the evening sitting on the dock watching for wildlife.
When it is time for bed, Knot a Care offers 3 bedrooms and 2 ½ bathrooms with a split floor plan that offers guests some additional privacy and sufficient bathroom space for guests.
Needing to do a little work – no problem. With an area dedicated as an office you can sit at the desk and work while still enjoying the direct views of the lanai, pool and canal. It is easy to connect with free highspeed WiFi is included in your stay.
The house has 4 exterior security cameras pointed at the exterior sides of the house and the canal area. There are no interior cameras – we respect your privacy.
With downtown Punta Gorda and Fishermen’s Village only 10 minutes away you can quickly enjoy shopping and dining at many great places. Take time on Saturday morning to enjoy the Farmer’s Market that takes place by the courthouse. With Port Charlotte just over the bridge, Boca Grande a short 30 minute drive and Fort Myers and Sarasota only being a 45-minute drive; day trips to these areas lets you explore other beaches and areas of southwest Florida.
If you’re a baseball fan we are conveniently located to the spring training camps for 6 major baseball teams:

Hitting the links, visiting the beaches to look for shells or getting out on the water is not a problem. There are plenty of golf courses to choose from throughout Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte. There are a variety of beaches with different offerings. And for those who want to get on the water there are several places where you can rent a boat or reserve a spot to take a sunset cruise.
This house is suitable for up to 8 guests. Short term (minimum 3 nights) and long term renters are welcome. A great house to rent for the long term to get away from the winter cold. Discounts are offered for longer term rentals.

Great Room: Features a 75" 4K QLED TV, leather sectional with 3 power seats (including headrest), large barrel 360 degree swivel chair and a large coffee table that can be used to play games. All lights in this area are dimmable.
Televisions: All are Smart TVs and are provided in the three bedrooms, great room and lanai.
Pool: The pool is a chlorinated pool. It’s about 12x 26 kidney shaped and ranges from 3’ to 6’ in depth with 2 in water sitting ledges. Floats are available for guest use.
BFirepit area: This is located in an outdoor seating area just outside the pool/lanai area. We will include the propane tank, however we do not provide refills for propane. Guests are welcome to swap the tank for a full tank at a local store.
Grill: The grill is free for guest use. We will include a propane tank, however we do not provide refills for propane. Guests are welcome to swap the tank for a full tank at the local store.
Lift: The lift is not available for guest use. However, if you have a boat or rent a boat, there is plenty of space to park along side the 80’ of dock space.
Parking: Guests are welcome to park in the driveway. No camper or trailer parking is available. If you have a boat trailer we can provide you with a service that will take your trailer, wash it off and store it during your stay (for a minimal fee).
We will provide the following welcome items for your stay (up to a 7 night stay). The volume of items will be adjusted for longer stays:
• 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom
• 2 roll of paper towels
• 3 laundry pods
• 3 dishwasher pods
• Garbage can liners
• Bottles of bath soap, shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom with a shower.
Any supplies that are needed beyond this, or that need to be replenished during the guests’ stay will need to be replenished by the guest.

Knot A Care is pet friendly for non-shedding pets less than 20 lbs with a $200 prepaid fee (for up to 2 dogs), plus taxes required. This fee is directly applied to additional cleaning completed to ensure all guest have a spot-free and clean air experience.
